TR Racing

Meet Trent Thompson and Reuben Atkinson, the passionate car enthusiasts behind TR Racing.

Trent owns a sleek black RX7 Series 7 powered by a 13BTT engine. Tuned by BLG with a Link G4 ECU, it delivers a reliable 240kW.

Reuben drives a 1992 R32 Nissan Skyline featuring the popular RB20DET engine, with countless modifications, including a full GTR front conversion. Together, they're also working on another R32, transforming it into a track car with an RB25DET Neo engine. This car is nearly ready for its dyno and power runs before a much-needed wheel alignment. Originally road-registered and certified, they've taken it to the next level with a fully welded-in 6-point roll cage and 2 bucket seats. They're gearing up for their first outing this October at the Taupo Motorsport Track “Carnival” event.

Trent and Reuben are dedicated to working on cars and pushing the limits with their modifications. They share their journey on their YouTube channel, TR Racing, where you can follow along with their projects and adventures.

GO4ADRIVE

Meet Andrew Liao and Mathew Wellington leading GO4ADRIVE. Based in New Plymouth, GO4ADRIVE is designed for car and bike enthusiasts who share a mutual passion for all things automotive. The club welcomes a diverse range of vehicles and enthusiasts, from local barbers and professionals to business owners and classic car aficionados.

GO4ADRIVE brings together like-minded individuals who love cars and motorbikes. Each event offers a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their love for vehicles. Whether it's a family-friendly drive event or a thrilling track day at Manfield, GO4ADRIVE fosters a quality community among its members.

Beyond the thrill of the drive, GO4ADRIVE is committed to supporting local businesses and charities. Each event is thoughtfully planned to include stops at various local establishments, helping to boost the local economy and foster a sense of community. The club has also organized fundraising events for charities such as Gumboot Friday/I Am Hope and local food banks, with plans to continue these efforts in the future.

Sticky Flanges

Meet Jason and Nicole Carlton, the dynamic husband and wife duo behind Sticky Flanges. Based in Taupo, they bring over a decade of experience in providing high-quality automotive parts at affordable prices.

Sticky Flanges was born out of Jason noticing the high prices of simple car parts during his travels around New Zealand. With a passion for his own project car, Jason started creating flanges and gaskets as a side hustle. Over the past 10 years, what started as an evening hobby has grown into a thriving business. Today, Sticky Flanges boasts a catalog of over 650 products and an in-house fabrication service. Jason now works full-time at Sticky Flanges, with Nicole part-time, ensuring every customer receives top-notch service and quality products.

Jason and Nicole's journey began in 2016. They share a deep love for the automotive scene, especially classic vehicles, and are active members of the Sulphur City Rod & Custom Club. Their shared interests and dedication to their craft have made Sticky Flanges a trusted name in the automotive community.

Their passion for cars has taken them around the world. From attending Drag Week in the USA to the Winter Drags in Australia, they are always seeking new experiences and knowledge. They got engaged in 2019, and despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, they managed to tie the knot in February 2021. They are now proud parents to their lovely daughter, Isabella Maree.
